Welcome to Fukui-ken Saiseikai Hospital

Aiming to be a foreigner-friendly hospital
My stomach hurts. . .I feel weak. . .but I don't understand Japanese.
How will the doctor treat me? What should I do? Don't worry-
We have a volunteer medical interpreter (English only) to provide you with language support.

Volunteer interpreter's available dates

Interpreting services have been halted until further notice due to the Corona Virus situation. We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause to our patients. We look forward to serving you as soon as the mandated closure of all volunteer services is lifted.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR PATIENTS SEEKING TREATMENT AT THE ORTHOPAEDICS AND/OR DERMATOLOGY DEPARTMENTS

The ORTHOPAEDICS DEPARTMENT (as of June 1, 2014) and the DERMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT (starting February 1, 2015) are no longer taking new walk-in patients during outpatient clinic hours

You must have the following prior to your visit to our hospital:

  1. A letter of reference from another doctor regarding your medical concern
  2. An appointment (you can call or have your physician make an appointment for you with us or email us through our contact email system)

***If you have any questions about this new policy,
please feel free to contact the hospital by phone (0776-23-1111) or access our email contact page. Be sure to include your email address so we can reply to your inquiry by email.

As of March 1, 2016, anyone wishing to make an appointment for any breast-related examinations must have a doctor's referral.

Since last year, there has been an increase in the number of first-time patients seeking breast examinations at Saiseikai, resulting in lengthy wait time for everyone.
In order to alleviate this problem, we will no longer take walk-in appointments.

Make an appointment by phone and bring a doctor's referral from your physician when you come for your scheduled visit.

(This does not apply to an emergency situation)

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
